REQUIRED DATE- OPEN USER PRIORITY WEIGHT- 25 RANKING- 0005
DATE RECEIVED- APR 28, 1997 REQUEST STANDING - REVIEW AS OF- MAY 12, 1997
TYPE- MOD/IMP
DESCRIPTION-
Current limit of HPFS in regard to cache memory is 2048KB.
This limit needs to be expanded to at least 16384KB, as memory
prices are low, and most high end machines are equipped with
32MB RAM at least, hence, Increasing the amount of cache
available to the File System Driver, will (I'm guessing)
improve overall system performance.
